Two Great Beaches

Take 17 to 517, go to the end of Sullivan’s Island (Make right at light – go about 3 miles).
Isle of Palms (Make a left at the light – go about 1 mile – ocean on right – park on the street – you will see the cars parked) Lots of beach access.

83-107, East Bay, Charleston, SC (Iconic pastel color homes along the water) The name Rainbow Row was coined after the pastel colors they were painted as they were restored in the 1930s and 1940s. The houses were painted in various colors so that the intoxicated sailors coming in from port could remember which houses they were to bunk in.

Located near the Pineapple Fountain, you will likely discover the beautiful Wharves of Charleston. N Adgers Wharf, in particular, has beautiful homes, those stone streets, and a view of the water. The street is lined with beautiful homes making for one of the best places to take pictures in Charleston!
